Oil Colour on Linen Canvas ~ 30 x 24 inches.

This commissioned portrait of Larry E. Temple was unveiled at the LBJ Library at The University of Texas at Austin. Temple served as White House Counsel to President Lyndon B. Johnson and has devoted decades to preserving the history and legacy of the Johnson administration through his continued leadership with the LBJ Foundation.

Prior to his service in the White House, Temple served as Executive Assistant to Texas Governor John Connally and later clerked for U.S. Supreme Court Justice Tom C. Clark following graduation from The University of Texas School of Law.

Today he remains closely associated with the LBJ Library and serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the LBJ Foundation, continuing a lifetime dedicated to public service and historical preservation.

The objective of this portrait was not merely physical likeness, but to convey the intelligence, dignity, and quiet authority developed through decades spent at the highest levels of public service.
