This three-quarter length portrait of Robert Cripps was commissioned by Velcro Industries to hang in their boardroom in Manchester New Hampshire, upon the occasion of his retirement.

Robert succeeded his father, Sir Humphrey Cripps, a visionary who transformed Velcro from a niche industrial provider to a familiar household brand. Under Robert's helmsmanship the company expanded to it's current world-wide stature. In the background, is Sir Humphreys' desk, lamp and chair. Robert has emerged from that base with an eye towards building for the future
